What's Glenmont like?

Anonymous
We bought our starter home in 20906 about 10 years ago. We were in the part closer to Viers Mill. It was nice because it was close to both the Twinbrook side and Glenmot side of the Red Line, so we could pick the side that was better for our commute, when needed. It also felt centrally located. We never did much in the immediate area, but went into DC and Baltimore often as well as downtown Silver Spring, Bethesda, and Rockville.

I never felt unsafe while living there, although there was noticeable crime. Our next door neighbor's house was broken into, and there were drug deals in broad daylight in the park across the street. At one point it became a cop's fulltime job to sit in the parking lot all day.

We moved after about 5 years, because both of our jobs moved to Northern Virginia.
