Btw we have yards and parks and masks and internet in all parts of the city. |
I don’t live in ward 3. What is a “mental” parent? No one needs to feel sorry for my children. They are well loved and cared for. |

More evidence that unions/ teachers are prepared to move the goalposts for fall reopening:
“Becky Pringle, president of the National Education Association, said she anticipates schools will open this fall but not necessarily with full classrooms. She wants more research first.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/education/schools-fall-plans/2021/03/30/0fb982a8-8daf-11eb-a730-1b4ed9656258_story.html |

Majority of schools in the US are back to full-time according to Burbio School Tracking data. Why not DC? There are still MS/HS in DC that are 100% virtual instruction (CARES classrooms are not "back to school." There are no teachers in those classrooms):

Most schools in this country are now open for in-person learning five days per week.

i can’t express how furious that makes me |
+1 but so predictable. |
| I am on the Walls town hall meeting right now and they are spending a lot of time saying they are "planning for hybrid learning" for SY2021-2022. It is appalling. They haven't had a single in person class for a single student ALL YEAR. |
|
So as of May, kids can go to the movies but they can't attend school. Make it make sense Mayor Bowser!

| If we are interested in joining such a lawsuit, can the attorney who posted or any other parents who are organizing a lawsuit post an email address or a way for us to get in contact with you? Thank you. |
I dont know why we should even care what teachers think about the safety of reopening schools. They don't know jack about coronavirus. Leave it to the scientists -- the people who actually know what they're talking about. |
wow. totally unacceptable. I’m actually thinking a lawsuit may be needed. |

DH and I are vaccinated. The teachers and staff are all vaccinated. Per WaPo there is no documented spread in classrooms.
At this point DCPS is arbitrarily depriving my kid of an education. |
I recommend that you edit out your personal address from your previous two posts. |
What is really needed is for DC Health to drop all distancing requirements between the kids as well as relax the cohorting rules in the fall. Otherwise they will not be able to have full-time school. |
