Anti-Trump bias in Montgomery County

Here, it's as if people just ASSUME you're against Trump. It's been like that since 2016. To be accepted into fine society you have to be liberal, politically correct, a Democrat, and against Trump. Neighbors are cliquish and don't want to hang out with you if it is known that you support Trump. Worse of all, people just casually make digs at President Trump and assume you'll go along with it. This is seen all over society whether it's schools that allow students to protest against guns but not against abortion, or casual dining room conversations where Trump is the butt of the joke or an icebreaker being like how horrible Trump is, or a small business selling "Maryland gifts" has Trump toilet paper. Do people not. get dissenting opinions, and why is it just assumed that everybody hates Trump? It's just so casually assumed that nobody could possibly support Trump and be their neighbor.

We asked a family to Bubble with us during quarantine and they declined after I finally got a Trump bumper sticker. It's disgusting.

OP, this is true in much of the country. It is no longer politically correct to be even a moderate democrat. The democrats have moved to the radical left and really block free speach.
Closet republican voters this cycle: blue collar workers, Jewish people, police, military, African Americans, business owners in dem states, restaurant owners in dem states, hair salon owners in California etc, etc, etc

Your tinfoil hat doesn’t fit under your white hood.

I’m a conservative. I live in a purple county now where people don’t automatically assume you’re for or against a Trump, and as a result, don’t talk about politics, because they don’t want to be rude. I’m also far enough out that people aren’t obsessively following every move of the executive branch. It’s great.

Your advice is to move to a place where people put their heads in the sand.

THIS. It's not about policy differences (family separation and muslim travel ban excepted). Trump's behavior is outside the bounds of simple decency and basic American values. That is a basic FACT. He is an existential threat to our Constitutional order.

So yes, his supporters should be treated as such.

In fact I have given up on the idea that I might have tolerant, freethinking neighbors and knew my business and my social standing would be on the line if I spoke up and supported Trump. I realize I have to live with these consequences. If Trump wins, it won't be because of Maryland, and Biden wins I will never hear the end of their gloating. I would consider it a victory if people in my neighborhood would at least not openly endorse Communism.

Who is openly endorsing communism?

Qanon is telling her that snd she is too much of a rube to understand reality.

Have you looked at your own local government?
I run my business and I follow their every move. Here is a taste of the government you elected which is crawling with communism and other forms of cultural Marxism.

Councilmember Will Jawando, a police abolitionist
Councilmember Tom Hucker, who started the Marxist youth organization Progressive Maryland
Councilmember Hans Riemer, a cultural Marxist
Councilmember Evan Glass, who worked for the leftist CNN
and
Marc Elrich, who is the king Stalinist and supports communist dictatorships. He’s been on the record endorsing Cuba and Venezuela and somehow this is ok.

Why is that you are okay with Marxism, but not with someone who supports the President chosen by the American people?

They tell you that to get along and then vote for him in private. We are everywhere even though you don’t think you know anyone who supports President Trump.

OP, I do believe you are having a mental breakdown. Your grasp on reality is tenuous at best. Turn off the OANN, stop reading the QAnon Twitter feeds and check yourself into an institution for evaluation. Your delusions are alarming.

And we all know he has paid for many abortions. Hypocrite to the max.

Pence no better. He's the opposite of a good church going man!

Right? I very much don't get why women are willing to put their rights on the line.

If you don't like it in MoCo I95 is ready when you are.

I moved from Georgia, and I love it here. Feel free to move down there, where people are refusing to wear masks (because they still think the virus is a hoax) and are still trying to drink bleach, as recommended by Trump.

I can't see letting politics getting win the way of good, kind person. I like my friends to make me feel like a sister, I could care less who they vote for because our friendship is what is important.

Dude. Why the eff do you think people don't want to bubble with you. It's not just that you have a Trump bumper sticker. It's that you have bought the whole idiotic bag of sht, and are here spouting off this nonsense as if it is just plain common knowledge.

Go meet some friends who think like you do! Then you can complain about "leftist CNN" together.

By the way - no Jews are not secret fcking Trump supporters you fcking fck. "Very fine people" sort of sealed that one. And don't bother telling me he never said it, as I know you're itching to do - you, just a nice suburban Trump supporter, who can't seem to make any friends in the neighborhood.

So many people are going to be shocked when the president is re-elected.

No what is disgusting is a "parent" driving around with a bumper sticker supporting a man that lies daily and has killed 190,000 Americans. What is "disgusting" is a person who supports a President that in no way shape or form has the best interest of the country.

This is not Republicans vs Democrats anymore.

You are teaching your children you support a liar, scam artist, criminal shall I go on. Great parenting!

Not only that what are you supporting, because clearly as usual Trump is a failure. Before he became President he failed, Trump University scam to the tune of 25 million dollars. Trump Foundation scammed 2.5 million from people who thought they were giving to charity. Trump modeling agency quite hypocritical of you to not complain about that when he literally had illegal underage teen models. Disbanded by the feds and sanctioned. And now only thing he has done is create chaos and steal from taxpayers millions and millions of dollars.

A paper bag would be better than Trump! So yes a Montgomery County resident I see your bumper sticker and I see racist, bigot, anti semite, and complete stupidity. Most importantly I see a person who literally breeds hate!

When someone says something that stupid “Trump killed 190,000 people” what can you say really except. Nothing. You can’t argue with stupid.
