| Pods actually don't hurt poor kids. Pods will take all the rich people out of the classes, leaving class sizes much smaller. Now the teachers can focus on the kids that really need their help. |

This is so ridiculous. Distance learning, at least for young kids, is going to suck, period. I have made my voice heard, but of course it hasn’t changed anything so far.
EVERY parent, regardless of her education level or income, should do what is best for her own children. Period. That doesn’t mean you don’t also advocate for change within the school (& I do), but for me not to supplement this past spring (for example) when I had the means to do so (parental education & time— we didn’t hire anyone) would have been insane. And it would not help a single other child for me to withhold educational opportunities in my own home from my own kids. |
Huh? Pods aren't taking anyone out of classes. They're just for during this distance learning time. The pod kids will return to regular classes at the same time as the non-pod kids. |
Or social needs. A lot of pods appear to be put together just so kids can see their friends. |
| Single men fathering 20 children with 15 different women hurts poor children. |
