Harvard, Princeton or Yale?

Michelle has said on many occasions that she didn't feel "at home" while she attended Princeton. Doubt if she would want her girls to attend.

Wow, that's a charming world view you have there. Students who received financial aid must be uncritical lackeys? And anything you don't believe (or know) must be made up?

If you get money to go to a school you should thank your lucky stars -- not bite the hand that feeds you. That's not being a lackey -- that's been grateful.

Being grateful and being critical are not mutually exclusive.

The Ivies can pick whomever they want to admit. If they wanted, they could pick only people who could pay 100%.

They are generous enough to provide substantial financial aid for many students (about 40% of them) at H,Y,P. I know my own child couldn't go w/o that aid. I certainly wouldn't complain. It's a gift. I wouldn't knock a gift horse in the mouth. It's low class.

Such b.s. -- do you think she wants them going to HBCs...that would be the day. Do you think she and the Prez would be where they are today if they both hadn't gotten big breaks to go to the Ivies?

I said Princeton, asshole.

You certainly didn't go there with that sort of language...must have learned that in the gutter -- Mont. Kom Kollege perhaps?

who cares if a child graduates from an Ivy League school if he/she cannopt obtain gainful employment...I wouldn't be able to stomach the cry of "thesis-hypothesis-synthesis" if Junior or Little Olivia is 28, stll living at home and lacking job prospects as well as decent health coverage.

Where did that come from pp -- Ivy envy much?

Not that any of us can speak for Michelle. But for her own kids so far, she apparently decided other things outweigh any concerns about the "rich kids' culture" at Sidwell. And they never seriously looked at public schools, as I understand it.
