It is gone, I tried several searches and came up with the headline for the article, but the link did not work. |
' I found it in Bing's cache: One newspaper, two stories I don't know how long it will last. |
I just posted it in the comments section of this article.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/01/26/AR2010012601351_Comments.html I'm sure it won't last there. Funny the Post didn't think of Bing. |
are we not allowed to paste it here?
|
No. It would be a copyright violation. I would risk the Post's wrath, but since I remove such posts from others, it would be hypocritical. |
darn. i am glad i got a chance to read it. |

This link to the comments section where I posted Turque's removed post is better ... you have to be signed in to access the other one. This is amazing. I'm getting thanks on the comments board. |
Jeff, when I read this I confess I thought you were being melodramatic. Come to find out that the speculation was close to justified (and who knows what will happen tomorrow?). It makes me so grateful for this site. |
It's back, REVISED.
I tried to post the original in the comments section but it's pending approval. Ha. Don't think it will fly. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcschools/2010/01/one_newspaper_two_stories.html |
Read the comments ... folks know it was removed for several hours. One commenter said Tricky Dick would be proud. |
City Paper (Erik Wemple) reposted the original with a some introductory observations
http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/blogs/citydesk/2010/01/27/washington-post-blog-post-critical-of-washington-post-disappears-from-web-site/ Apparently a rewrite is in the works... ![]() |

Watered down, of course. This speaks volumes about the state of the Post today. |
