No, classes are not canceled. "Penn State has decided to move to remote learning for all classes beginning Monday, March 16, through Friday, April 3, with a plan to resume in-person classes on Monday, April 6, at the earliest. For faculty and staff, the University will remain open." Bowdoin: "Classes will not be held on Monday, March 23, or Tuesday, March 24, so that faculty and staff will have sufficient time to enable the best possible remote-learning experience under these challenging circumstances. Classes will resume, remotely, on Wednesday, March 25."

Montgomery College has cancelled class for the rest of this week Next week is Spring Break. Not sure if they will reopen after that

MIT is closing dorms this weekend for the rest of the semester. Everyone has to move out. Classes will resume remotely after spring break.

Regarding the Grinnel closure- one of the professors there attended the abiogenesis conference in Boston that is responsible for ~70 of 90ish cases in Boston. Don’t be so quick to assume all the information related to every decision is publicly known. What seemed foolish to some was actually a smart and quick response.

Tulane is online for the rest of the semester. Dorms need to be vacated by 3/22.

RPI just switched to have online classes for the rest of the semester (they are currently on spring break) and we have to go up by next Friday to get our son’s stuff out of his dorm.

Students are being encouraged to return home during this period of time.

All state VA colleges are doing the same thing as directed by governor and va health dept... telling students to stay away from campus if possible and resorting to online classes until reevaluating on or before April 5. Privates are advised to do something similar, but are not required to.

Vassar. On spring break now for two weeks (normal spring break, not an extended one) then going to online classes until further notice. No dates given. No move-out order as of now.
