I can't stand Diane Keaton and her surprised shrieking. I heard she's awful in real life.

Meh, as a love actually lover it seems like it's just gotten more and more fashionable to hate on it. I dont think this is a particularly loved movie so much as a particularly polarizing movie...you either love it or hate it, very little in between.

Mine are:

A Christmas Story
Anchorman
Donnie Darko (probably not universally loved in real life but was in my college!)

A Christmas Story

What kind of monster hates the goonies?

I remember thinking the fiancé seemed hot and Leo DiCaprio looked like a little kid next to Kate Winslet. She looked like a woman, he looked like a teen - the casting was distracting. I felt bad for the fiancé. Indifferent about Leo.

well, the fiance WAS hot. An asshole, but hot. Yes, Leo looked like a baby in that movie. I never bought that he and Kate/Rose would have any attraction whatsoever. And I really hated the movie more when everyone started babbling about how he was cheated out of an oscar nod.

I caught part of Far and Away over the weekend and realized that the fiancé in that movie and the fiancé in Titanic are the exact same character.

+1 in Love Actually and Forrest Gump.

I also hate When Harry Met Sally. It just feels like they settle at the end.

It's especially objectionable because it was a criminal waste of a lot of talented actors. And it wasted some vague nuggets of half decent ideas by cramming them in with crappy ones. I can only figure that whoever greenlit it at the movie studio assumed Richard Curtis was gonna edit that monster script....

The stalker videographer and his cheater love placards... awful

I'm so happy to see so many Love Actually haters!

It's actually a bit of a thing: https://www.google.com/search?q=love+actually+negative+review

I was going to post one of the articles, but many of them are pretty funny.
