This VDOE seems to screw up everything it touches. I can’t believe they haven’t at least sent an email saying there is a delay. It’s almost May.

My older kids did Governor’s School a few years ears ago and they was no issue with notifications. This is not right.

My daughter told me today that her friend's mom emailed and was told it would be 2-3 more weeks before it is announced. I hope that isn't true. This is making it very difficult to finalize our plans for the summer. Deadlines for applying to other programs have either passed or will very soon. I'm afraid it will be too late to pivot into another program by the time we find out.

Please no...how can that be true? On who's authority??? I've tried to call VDOE multiple times without success. All they have to do is add up numbers on the apps-it's all done by rubric!!!

Wow. They better email and tell the kids. These kids agreed to accept the spot if offered. Meanwhile other opportunities are gone.

Exactly. We haven't applied anywhere else because of that agreement.
