Mueller Report is being delivered to Barr today

I wonder what Schiff is doing tonight. He said there was plenty of evidence of collusion.
I guess he is working on pulling together the House investigations.

LOL!

He needs to get his thyroid tested. Those buggy eyes are surely Graves’ disease.

I cannot stand Trump and I hope he loses the next election.

I also had zero hope that this Mueller thing would result in anything that would bring down Trump. So I am not surprised. What suprises me is how many D's I know who thought Mueller was going to come out with some huge collusion bombshell.

I also think that anyone looking into Trump's finances will find tons of illegal crap. Much like a ton of wealthy CEOs. But no one cares about that. Literally not one person who supports Trump that I have ever talked to gives two shits about illegal crap going on with money. Or paying off porn stars, or anything immoral or illegal related to anything. Frankly I dont think any of them would care if he colluded with Russia, tons of people i talk to who support Trump have said "Well you don't think the US interferes in elections?" Like anything is fair game. no one cares.

So yeah, I worry very very much that this guy is going to get back into office. So far, I don't know that I see anything that anyone cares about enough to move off Trump.

Unfortunately.

SDNY is a dead end until Trump's presidency is over. DoJ has strongly indicated that they won't support an indictment of a sitting president.

Which will have Trump losing his shit during the 2020 election because he knows as soon as he's out of office, he gets indicted.

YEP! As soon as he’s out of office, he’s toast. The state investigations aren’t going to just disappear, even if a sitting president can’t/won’t be indicted.

Now, this IS moving the goalposts.

Trump supporters don't care about goalposts. So far the investigation has yielded at least 34 indictments that we know about yet they still try and claim "nothing burger" "total witch hunt" "completely vindicated".

34 indictments is a big deal. It's hardly a nothingburger. There's still a ton of stuff that's only just getting started, like Roger Stone. And so far each time these have started spinning up for the courts it's generated even more spin-off things to prosecute. Today isn't the end of anything, it's just the beginning.

Special counsel Mueller has no sealed indictments as Russia probe ends: NBC News

Special counsel Robert Mueller has concluded his investigation and will not file any more indictments in connection with his inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign, NBC News reported on Friday, citing a senior U.S. law enforcement official.
There are no sealed indictments.
It is possible that leads uncovered during the special counsel's inquiry and handed off could lead to charges brought by state prosecutors or other parts of the Department of Justice.

Wasn't the speculation always that the really big stuff would be passed off to state prosecutors to prevent Trump from pardoning everyone?

Democrats shot themselves in the foot. Mueller had 2 years and tons of money and found nada.

Good luck taking Trump down now. If you go for the king you better not miss. They missed.

Have you not noticed what's going on in SDNY?

No sealed indictments. And good luck stringing Americans along on another wild goose chase.

You have zero understanding of what's happening in New York.

DOJ is saying there are no sealed indictments related to The Mueller investigation.

SDNY isn't part of the Mueller investigation. Like I said, you have zero understanding of what's happening.

PP, do you have any good reason to think SDNY is going to do something big?

SDNY is doing what SDNY does best, investigating and prosecuting organized crime, financial fraud, etc. They are the ones who have been doing the fraud investigation regarding the inaugural committee, they're investigating Trump's tax records, it's where the Michael Cohen/hush money investigation is happening (remember Individual-1?), they're the ones who subpoenaed Aon regarding potential insurance fraud and illegal kickbacks by the Trump Organization, they've already filed suit against the Trump Organization for its charitable fraud, and they're investigating lending fraud in connection with his business projects (Cohen supposedly gave them a lot on this). That's just what I can remember off the top of my head.

Mueller was limited to just Russia. SDNY can pursue every other illegal thing the Trumps and the Trump Organization have done.

What they do best? Yeah, their prosecutions for the 2008 financial crisis were really something! Oh, wait...

That's what you're falling back on? Oh, that's sad.

That should be interesting. Lots of "important people" who, according to what has been revealed thus far, made some very partisan decisions and likely illegal actions along the way.

James Baker and Andy McCabe are currently under investigation. Chris Steele was referred by congress for criminal investigation.

Peter Strozk and John Brennan should definitely be investigated if they haven't been.

William Barr appears to be a competent AG. He can't do any worse than Jeff Sessions.

+1

People who want to beat Trump need a better POLITICAL strategy. These legal maneuvers allowed insiders in the government, the Democratic Party, and the media to delay their reckoning with the need for a new way of doing things. Smart folks should stop listening to everyone who hyped this Russia story.

Schiff talked to Russians on the phone to get dirt on Trump. We have the recordings. Schiff openly used Trump tower meeting as evidence of Russian collusion. By his own standard, Schiff also colluded with Russians. And the Trump tower lawyer met with Fusion GPS's Glen Simpson three nights in a row for dinner. How come Mueller is not investigating Fusion GPS?

Some of the crimes most damaging to the citizenry were almost entirely ignored by the criminal justice system and my highlighting said FACT is what you call "falling back"? What a hoot! Nothing I've said is pro-Trump. But I yield to no one in saying that hoping for good things from the SDNY or any other ensconced part of the legal profession is f-ing stupid!

Go ahead and hold your breath. I'll just say many liberals and conservatives have held their breath waiting for the vaulted SDNY to handle a slam dum case with no defense on the way to the rim and have a turnover. Juuuust pointing out today is a good day.

I don't think Russian trolls frequent this forum. It would be a relief to hear that they do.

Okay no indictments, no reason for the report not to be released in full ASAP. Looking forward to reading it in full.
