Uhhh...what would you prefer over "bespoke"? It's an actual word with a meaning, not stupid jargon.

Custom! Everybody used the word custom until about a year ago.

Yeah. I often wonder if people reflect on what this actually means. So cringeworthy especially in a work environment. And I’m not a pearl clutcher by any measure.

I think most people don’t actually know what this means, and believe it refers to something else.

Same! This saying is so creepy. Also have an older male boss who is always saying "his turn in the barrel".....does he know what that means???

Agree, this one makes me puke in my mouth a little and I have a VP who says it all the time. WTF dude.

I am so tired of disrupt/disruptive/disruption. It is everywhere these days. Just stop.

I was watching Veep recently and realized there were so many phrases in the show that my boss uses. We are in an extremely political organization and what I hear most is "keep a low profile for now".

If you are hearing this frequently, you need to take a serious look at what you're doing wrong at work.

+1 Bespoke IS jargon. Custom works just fine.

This thread is hilarious- and jargon I hear every day. Here are a couple more I have not seen on the thread yet--

"Create stickiness"
"From a ****** perspective"
"Turnkey solution"
"All hands on deck"
"Peel back the layers of the onion"

Anonymous wrote:"Skin in the game"
"reach out"
"thanks in advance"

Thanks in advance is the worst. If someone thanks me in advance and I have the option not to do the thing they're thanking me for, I don't do it. So annoying.

Plus. Effing. One Million.
