Got one on both. I am now using Chrome instead of safari on iPhone. Haven’t gotten one yet...not sure if that helps

I just tracked down another one. Here is some information that I have found about this redirect:

1) All of redirect ads that I've ever seen relay through a chain of servers before the end user gets the pop-up. I capture the traffic while trying to get a redirect and then trace it back. With the latest round, they are doing something to hide one step of the chain. I have an idea how they are doing that, but I haven't figured out what to do about it yet. The result is that once I work back to the break in the chain, I don't know the previous step. I have been making educated guesses.

2) The result of my educated guesses has repeatedly pointed to ads from one ad provider. Unfortunately, this ad provider is quite large and used by every ad network that I use. That means that these ads are coming through every network that I use. I can't simply stop them by turning off one network. So, I am going network by network to ask to have all ads from that provider blocked.

3) The redirect seems to have a 7 second delay built in. So, it does not redirect you until 7 seconds after you have loaded it. Therefore, you might load it on one page and move to another page before it fires. Theoretically, in 7 seconds you could move to an entirely different website.

I got a redirect this morning to a YouTube survey for a $1,000 Visa card. Was on the thread about Michigan State and was about the fourth page I clicked on. Using an iPhone.
