Roy Moore is a repulsive and evil person. Not surprising that a self-righteous wing nut has old sexual perversions tucked away in his closet. Pretty much par for the course for these types. Just surprised its young girls instead of young boys.

I hope to God more Senators and party folks come out with McConnell. A guy like Moore is not someone they should want affiliated with them. They are better than Roy Moore. Or at least they were before the Trump era.

If liberals really believed this and that it would affect the outcome, they would want Moore to stay in the race.

Either they don't believe it or think it is not going to make a difference in the result. Seriously, unless there is tape of him doing something when she was 14, most Alabamans would believe that this is fake news whether it is or not. The timing is too suspect for one thing.

If he stays in the race, a lot of his base will write it off as fake news. He probably loses, but by say 60 - 40 or 70-30.

If he withdraws, the GOP does even worse, because its too late to reprint ballots, and last minute write in campaigns are really hard to pull off.

So he loses by 80-20?

On the other hand if he leaves, thats better for the GOP. They just throw up their hands. If he stays in, Breitbart will support him, and be wrathful at establishment types who do not.

Timing - the women talked when WaPo came and approached them. WaPo says as much. Why would they have bothered looking around before he won the primary? You think they do for every extremist judge?

Alabamans are not going to believe this story that has been conveniently timed to come out right before the election.

Whether it is true or not, a story from the WAPO does not carry any credibility in Alabama.

The WaPo, like any for-profit company, has finite resources. They will investigate a story like this when the stakes are at the highest point. Once Moore won the primary, they began seriously looking at this story. It takes a few months to get the story together and approved.
