Who do you think was beautiful in her prime: Vivien Leigh or Farrah Fawcett?

Leigh was a classic beauty, too.

Agree Farrah wasn't classically beautiful. But she was hot and filled out a swimsuit well in all those posters in guys' dorm rooms. There's a difference.

Agreed on FF. I tried to post the poster, but only got a link.

Here's a better image of Vivien Leigh:

With curtain cloth headdress.

Carol Burnett wore it better

Farrah Fawcett

Neither. FF has a very masculine look and VL a china doll look, neither of which are ideals of beauty.

I don’t find Vivian Leigh beautiful- maybe it’s how she’s so done up and her hair is coiffed in every picture I’ve found?

Farrah of hands down

Vivien by a mile, with bonus points for being a wacky nympho.

In their prime??

Definitely Vivian.

As Scarlett O’Hara she was the perfect choice for the part.
So pretty w/her dark hair + light eyes too.

Farrah in her prime was pretty too - but she was marketed differently to the masses vs. Vivian.
It really is a stretch to compare them side to side.

Farrah was a sex symbol in the ‘70’s.
And she was known mostly for having a great tan & the coolest feathered hairstyle.
