Obama Murders an American Citizen

Can you imagine if Clinton would have tried to gut the financial sector regulations during the 90s like Bush did? He would've been crucified!

Just imagine the stink folks on the right would've raised had a Democratic president gotten America bogged down in a quagmire like Vietnam, like Nixon did!

You might want to start by identifying the alleged assumption.

Sure:

Oh - you do realize that Nicholson's character was the villain of that movie?

Ha! Sorry - completely missed it.

A Democratic president like that would probably have been challenged by members of his own party and might have decided not to run for reelection. Actually, that's just what happened. Ever hear of LBJ?

Apparently not satisfied with having killed two US citizens, the Obama Administration killed Anwar al-Awlaki's 16 year old son and his 17 year old cousin. The 16 year old, like his father, was a US citizen (born in Denver).

I am pretty sure that the Obama Administration has now killed more Americans than Hamas. Perhaps the wrong organization is on the terrorist list.

Recently much todo was made of a supposed Iranian plot to kill the Saudi ambassador in Washington. The US issued two criminal indictments -- one for a guy who is believed to be in Iran. It is notable that even the guy in Iran has received more due process than any of the three American citizens that the Obama administration has killed.

If it were President Romney committing these killings Democrats would likely protest. I'm starting to see fewer and fewer downsides to Obama being a one-term president.

So how would a Republican Presidency be preferable?

Let's see what'll happen once a Republican is elected President:
Item 1 would likely be repealing Obamacare, imperfect as it is.
Item 2 would be repealing Dodd-Frank and other financial reform.
Item 3 would be starting more wars with less success. I think Syria's due for getting bogged into.

Are we letting the perfect be the enemy of the good again?

Senate Democrats can prevent Item 1 and Item 2. Given the fact that Obama has attacked Libya, sent troops to Uganda, deployed drones to Yemen and Somalia, is increasing tensions with Iran, and threatening Pakistan, I think Item 3 is a wash. At least Democrats would stand up to a Republican president.

Yeah, the Iraqis kicked us out. Obama wanted to keep 5,000 "trainers" -- all with immunity from Iraqi laws -- but the Iraqi Parliament would not agree to it. This announcement serves two purposes: 1) fool people like you; 2) put pressure on the Iraqi Parliament to change its position.
