I feel pretty "caught up" on the school scene in DC. I used to teach in a DCPS school and have many former colleagues who still teaching in DCPS and charter schools all over the city. It is a gamble. Do you read the DCPS forum and read about all the parents who end up on every waiting list for every OOB school they've applied for? It is a huge gamble.
