Hopefully you’re in therapy. |
People that deprive themselves of something they like through performative nonsense are the saddest among us. |
No need for therapy at all. If you follow hockey this is a big wake-up call that the "isolated" stories of abuse and rape are not isolated, but a part of the culture. If not, why hasn't USA hockey or the NHL made a statement? |
That one does not bother me as much. Yes not in spirit of the Olympics but Canadian players bashing on USA players and vice versa probably happens all the time. I am sure plenty of time is spent ribbing each other constantly and I could definitely see Canadian players wanting to close the southern border as a joke. If that joke had come from the president of the United States.... Then it would have been in really poor taste. |
I still don't understand the funny part of the joke? |
Omg. What a bunch of performative nonsense we had to go through because of a half-time show at the super bowl. Why couldn't you just watch the darn show and get on with it? |
Women here think men are predators, and oppressors. |
Where is the lie? |
DP. But has a single male hockey player ANYWHERE in the US said boo about this? Have the Caps said anything about it? The silence is deafening. |
I bolded it for you. |
Maybe they should stop acting like predators and oppressors, then. They had an opportunity to be gracious towards the women’s team and they blew it. If this is how they act when they know people are watching, what are they doing behind closed doors? |
+1. What is the not ugly, funny part of that joke? Just explain that to the forum here so we can understand. |
DP. I can see LOVE being triggering. The most accurate statement is: "they, by their actions and association, CONDONE pedophiles and masked men who kill people on the street of the US?" |
They are either cowards or all in on the misogyny. They are teaching young boys that mocking women is all good and behavior to aspire to. Could’ve been heroes but chose to be the worst role models ever. |
Thanks for reinforcing my point. You’d make a great ally. A snake in the grass. |
