Which APS high school manages its huge size best?

The 20 acres of WL INCLUDED the portion of Quincy Park. Look at a map, the WL block is about 1100x600 sq ft — 15 acres.

Thanks for explaining. But why not just include all of Quincy Park in the total open space W-L students use? The tennis courts (on county land) are used for PE and WL teams. Students often organize picnics in the shaded areas in the County owned portion.

A large part of Yorktown Campus is actually Greenbrier Park, but is considered a part of the school campus.

No, not a sporty kid! I hope he will have an interest in an art or creative/writinf activity like drama or yearbook or school paper.

WL and Yorktown both have very strong drama and yearbook programs. Not sure if he is vocal, but YHS has an amazing choir program as well. The kids are very inclusive.

The artsy kids I know (including LGBTQ+ artsy kids) all had a great experience at Yorktown and felt really accepted there.

I think the kids in advanced classes at Wakefield have a pretty good experience (especially if they are also in the spanish immersion program) and it feels like a smaller school for these kids since there are not that many kids in this cohort.
