Three seats were left open for 7 months! Dem candidates had to sue to have these elections. 2 flipped, the 3rd was deep red, moved 9 points.

Chaz knows Virginia. Florida is a whole different game. FL Dems fought hard for these seats and had excellent candidates. I called with them today from 4-6pm. They fought for every vote.

Dem. Emily Gregory just won the District 87 Special Election in Palm Beach County yes, that Palm Beach County, home to Mar-a-Lago.

Tomkow raised $1M which was ten times what Nathan raised and she still lost.

Also tonight - not a special but finally a result from the North Carolina Republican primary three weeks ago - Phil Berger, the Trump-endorsed leader of the North Carolina state senate - lost his primary by 26 votes.

Trump gave her opponent his "complete and total endorsement" hoping for a cheap win. Sad!

I never said it did. But Democrats won a whole lot of them and that made the difference.

Yeah it’s a BFD. This guy was North Carolina’s Mitch McConnell and was behind all of the sh!t the Republican legislature has been doing for a decade to strip power from the Democratic governors.
