Awaiting ED decisions — how are you feeling?

Not so much stress- just hating the feeling of being in purgatory. Just give us the results already, so we can move on, plan accordingly .

Mine has a likely letter in hand and an athletic commitment, so we are feeling pretty good (but still a small bit of nerves).

Trying to get my DS to work on his RD apps, but I am resigned to the fact that it will likely be a long week after Christmas if he doesn’t get in ED. The motivation just isn’t there and finals are approaching.

REA for Notre Dame. Her school says likely, but it’s a hard admit for anyone. She’s dreamed of this school for so many years. I know she will be fine at any other school, but I just so much want her dream to come true. I’m also nervous that her school made her too confident that she will be surprised if she doesn’t get in which is crazy with such a low acceptance rate. I just want the uncertainty to be over.

How can any school with a low admit rate be a likely? I assume your DD attends a Catholic feeder, but still….

our kid has already gotten into three very good schools they like (thanks rolling admissions) so there is less weight this Xmas when it comes to decisions.
