+1 This is an evergreen point.

I'm a UCLA grad (don't hire me because I can barely speak English!) and my DD is at a WASP LAC. I think both are fantastic and am baffled when DCUM trolls virulently bashes either school or the countless other fantastic colleges.

FWIW, I'm also grossed out by the snobbery toward community colleges and community college transfers here. It reeks of classism.

There’s not really a good LAC after WASP, Claremont McKenna, Middlebury, and Bowdoin.
