Every cop I know did or plans to retire in their mid-fifties. Will you retire at 55 or 56? I’m fairly certain you current high school and college kids won’t.

Is there a police department or sheriff’s department in the U.S that isn’t hiring? The job market isn’t bad if you look in the right places. Where else can your English, History or Gender Studies major apply to a readily available job that pays $70,000 and offers a pension?
