That interview was with Greta Van Susteren. Here's Traficant telling Sean Hannity the same. Carlson mentions his admiration for congressman Traficant in both of his books.

Sachs has become a frequent guest. You can tell Tucker has an affinity for him. I wonder if Sachs and him talk a lot in private since Tucker lost both of his parents recently. His was his best friend and they talked daily.

Maybe we should pay our lawmakers more so they won’t be suspectible to bribery. They don’t make as much as lawyers or lobbyists. How much does a Senator make? They barely make over 100k and they need to rent a home in DC and home state plus price of travel. Very expensive
