It's over. China has far more leverage than Trump and, not to mention, a longer time horizon to wait it out. And it's far from clear that Trump's ability to tariff-by-tweet will be legal going forward. He has zero deals completed, and he and his people are starting to message that there won't be any. Further, all this chaos has just made the supply chain worse for the U.S. The completeness of his failure is stunning even for the already low Trump-standards.

Techy people on IG said the sale was already brokered and it was shut down to change servers. They believe it’s a Meta co now. This was pre-Careless People, but if you read the book, you’ll see this fits in and this is entirely plausible.
