Same with my DS (17) but he likes to lounge in the and he has two christmas ones for this time of the year. |
Yes he can just wear sweats if he wants to wear comfortable clothes. You don't need to go out and buy pajamas just for this. |
Yes I think girls in general are more into it than boys are. |
There are many more cute pajamas for girls than for boys I think. |
This is the actual answer. But I find the whole idea of Pajama Day to be terrible. It's kind of funny for daycare. But inappropriate for K-12. And I have 2 boys. And their pajamas are fleece pants and long sleeve jersey tees. I feel sorry for little girls. No way would I have participated in this as a child. |
Yes I totally agree and since almost no teens wear formal clothes anymore there really is no reason for it. |
|
That's a good point and pajama pants are just so comfortable for lounging. |
I totally agree and it's his choice whether he wants to participate or not. I think a lot of boys when they are in high school choose to not participate. |
Yes I totally agree and the tradition is much older than that. |
Why can’t every day be pajamas day? |
|
They aren't wearing boxer shorts/topless or a twin set negligee OP.
Its flannel pants and a hoodie, basically the same thing most high school kids wear every day. |
At most high schools, every day is pajama day. |
|
I think it's an unnecessary tradition. It's not like many teens wear super formal clothes to begin with so I don't see the big need to drees down. Plus many teen boys probably don't even own pajamas because they don't sleep in them.

Yes you are right. No need! |
