What's a brand or model of car that you could NEVER drive?

+1, and it sucks because the douches are now spreading to older Land Rover Defenders, which are really cool, primitive trucks with a lot of character and genuine off-road capability. But now the odds of a douche driving one are so high that it’s now unattractive as an option.

I’m confused. Do you actually understand anything about trucks? Because your answer sounds like it based on emotion, and emotion is a terrible means for making decisions.

Manufacturers don’t make vehicles the size and shape they are for no reason. There’s a point to a full size pick up truck looking the way it does. There is a form factor at work that needs to accomplish several functions the truck must perform.

A full-size pick up with an 8 ft bed must be able to hold 4’x8’ sheets of plywood, drywall or other materials, carried in the bed, between the wheel wells, with the tailgate closed.

They must have cargo capacity of at least 1,000 lbs on the rear axle (frequently much higher)

They must have a towing capacity (and brakes) to be able to tow a minimum of 5,000 lbs.

If they are 4wd, they need a usable ground clearance, typically around 8” or more.

When you take all those requirements into account and design a form factor to meet those functions, you get a typical American half-ton pick up truck.

I’m hoping you also have an identical boycott of all other German brands and protects, as well as anything and everything Italian, and of course reject anything Japanese, as well. Because they were ALL nazis.

So, here’s where you’re supposed tell us you only buy American or other Allies, and promise there’s not a single German, Italian or Japanese product in your life.

Right?
