This was great
Chaya is sub human crap |
| they are both utterly horrible |
+1 As another PP said. This comes off like a petty fight between “mean girls”. Like are they adults or middle schoolers?… THAT BEING SAID even if I don’t agree with everything Chaya says—this was not an “owning the poster child of the ‘own-the-libs’ movement” kind of interview. Lorenz should be—and I hope is— embarrassed. |
Different categories. Ben Shapiro is a political commentator like Rachel Maddow. Chaya is a real estate agent who retweets weird things she found on the internet. It's bizarre that people treat her as a leader of a movement. She literally retweets silly videos that the people/companies already tweeted to a less critical audience. |
Ben Shapiro only made a name for himself by being able to go onto college campuses and contort unprepared teenagers into submission with his well-rehearsed rapidfire jackhammer of rhetorical constructs. |
It's another strategy that the right wing absolutely loves - cherrypicking a bunch of random things from random people, out of context, and lacking relevance to anything genuinely meaningful, and trying to stitch them all into an imaginary construct they claim accurately depicts the mainstream left. |
I would argue they’re all the same. Spouting opinion dressed up as fact. Maddow is the liberal Tucker Carlson. Shapiro and Chaya just advocate hatred of people. I wish all of them would STFU and go away. |
She identified herself as an Orthodox Jew in one of her earlier accounts (houseplant-outs). Here is an archived page from that account. https://web.archive.org/web/20210406145956/https://twitter.com/houseplantpotus/status/1379448636392767491 |
I’ve never heard of many anti LGBT Jewish people until recently . Interesting. She is similar to Ben Shapiro or Ben Gvir. An anti liberal backlash and right wing movement and politicians help Israel but using trans is a smart way to push traction to the Republican Party |
If you view yourself as saving children from experimental, lifelong mutilation and sterilization promoted by a corrupt medical establishment that wants lifelong profitable patients, the passionate involvement of some Jews in anti-trans efforts makes more sense. I’m not saying I agree with the position, but I am saying that there is a logical consistency. |
