This will be the winning strategy.

And then all those farmers are really going to be gnashing their teeth when they no longer have workers. Ah well. Better be careful what you wish for.

Legal immigration.

Can’t get immigrant farm workers legally. The legal slots go to Asian tech workers.

Don’t they have a special visa program for farm workers?
The meat processing plants need workers too.

More than anyone has ever gotten before, dipshit.

This primary wasn't like any one before. It's kind of mediocre, actually. Trump isn't getting all those Haley voters in the general.

As it should be. National security affects us all.

Big surprise.

His weird fealty suggests he’s being blackmailed. Dropping out and endorsing at this point wouldn’t be weird since he lost handily but it’s the weeks of talking about how persecuted Trump is.

Perhaps he’s gunning for VP?

He's too popular for that. Trump's ego won't allow that.

You have blinders on. This is about white christian patriarchial nationalism. This is a beautiful dream for the MAGA. They are against immigration, sure. But their main driver is a white male patriarchy (being good to the little women of course. they are so beautiful. one should have several of them to make life beautiful and clean. and hmm... is there a brown person over there? oh ya... well, as long as they behave, they can sing for us)

Wow, only 100k showed up? Less than 2/3 of 2016 turnout. That is embarrassingly low turnout. Seems like republicans are not enthusiastic about their choices.

None of these women are dumb enough to tank their careers by agreeing to be VP.

MAGA is blaming the weather, but that’s Midwest weather. Enthusiasm was mild at best.

Why are Republicans so stupid?

It was the coldest caucus in history with temps in the negative 30's. Many parking lots were not cleared and walkways were slippery from the snow a few days ago.
Most pundits were predicting a low turn out because of the bitter cold.
Bottom line.... Trump won over 50% of the vote - more than any candidate has ever won.
And, he got more votes than he received in 2016.
It was definitely a win for him.

If Biden only got 50% in a primary, I’d be pretty concerned.

It's as been discussed. Trump has the election-denying MAGA, and there's a big population of GOP voters hoping for something different. These results are pretty meh given the dynamic.
