Who is your fictional husband?

Fitzwilliam Darcy the MATTHEW MACFAYDEN version
Cillian Murphy in most of his roles. Dreamy eyes.
Noah from the notebook
Chandler Bing from friends
James marsden in 27 dresses. Or the notebook. He was rich and kind in the notebook, so let’s go with that.

Oh, and Jacob from “like crazy.” To have a guy so tortured for you…

And Chris Pine in this means war. So hot.

why? He'd be gone all the time and the hair all over the house from his annoying pet?

Yes, one of the few things the most recent Star Wars movies got right is accepting that he would have been a crappy (or at least absent) husband.

Meh he is hot enough to pull it off. Also he is loyal.

Has Oscar Isaac ever played a happy well adjusted character? That one…

Luke Perry - yes. Dylan "mad bad and dangerous to know" McKay - no. Too moody. And your mother-in-law would be Iris, no thanks.
Steve Sanders is the only husband material from that show.

What?! Steve had Celeste who was LOVELY and he cheated on her! I like Dylan's moodiness. I'm fine with him going off to Baja to surf for two days to leave me to putter around by myself, or sitting in a cafe reading all day. And Iris is off in Hawaii for the most part. I could deal with her a few times a year. I am sticking with Dylan.

Ok, but he’s a heroin addict in later seasons.

When it came out and I was a teen: Josh from Clueless

Now: Mr. Darcy, any version (though McFadyen needs a much better haircut)

You're right about Celeste. But Steve learned the error of his ways. Look how great he was with Claire! Dylan 100% is cheating on anyone with Brenda.
