To answer some of your questions, he was moved out of general population to the SHU because of his notoriety, so there will be no cell block interviews. The prison is run by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. You can see the names of the people who failed to check in on him under suicide watch by following the link.

The simple reality though is that the day before he died, the judge had unsealed 2,000 pages of documents. So he killed himself.

He magically killed himself while not one guard but both guards slept and the cameras mysteriously malfunctioned right there and he broke a bone in his neck that isn’t usually broken by hanging but is frequently broken by strangulation. All under Bill Barr’s aegis. Yep, story checks out.
