Maybe for freshman, but 4 years of binge drinking is not kind to waistlines
+1. You could pick out the first-years from upper classman in my sorority by waistline alone. Drinking=big bellies. Forced house mealplans don't help. Baked goods don't help.

Hear me out. Mormons are obsessed with female beauty. Obsessed. Many (not all!) of the girls attending BYU have finding a husband as their top goal for their undergrad years. It’s insane how groomed and fit most (not all!) of the girls are on campus. Salt Lake City has the highest per-capita plastic surgeons. I have to say that the male students are nowhere near as put together.

This is all so true.

- BYU grad who was *not* one of the fit and groomed ones.

Plastuc surgery barbie dolls are not "attractive". And if their purpose is to find a mate to start producing youngins....plastic surgery won't be passed down. Sorry.

Ha I actually don't know anybody who got plastic surgery as an undergrad or even before they got married, though I'm sure some do. All the plastic surgeons in Utah just show that Mormons place a very high value on the appearance of women, not that BYU undergrads are really into plastic surgery.

I recall that when it came to attractiveness, men were into a fit body and being generally put together, rather than things about their appearance that could be changed with plastic surgery. I don't know any (white) Mormon guys who would have thought "big boobs and giant lips?? Be still my heart!"

I sure have no clue. I was just responding to the poster that said finding a mate was priority number one and that there was a lot of plastic surgery. These boys do realize that the fake nose is not going to appear on the littles?

I went to a school that was posted on an earlier list. I chose to apply via common app because frankly their essay questions were insane on their school app. It also included a spot for picture, which of course common app did not.

They sent me a supplemental form to fill out to complete my application. One of the items they insisted on? Picture.

Yeah, they definitely were trying to find attractive students

Just tell us the school that was requiring a head shot. What years was this?

I think the high rate of plastic surgery in UT is primarily used by the stay at home moms who have given birth 5 to 6 times. That does a number on the body.

It isn't for that question.

Fine. It was Wake in the 90s.

The SEC schools are going to have the highest variance. Top-tier attractiveness mixed with a serious obesity problem.

You probably want the "beach" schools, Miami, southern CA schools, maybe ASU for fitness.

The other option is to look at the healthiest states, and that leads you to CU-Boulder.

For Texas and California, boob and nose jobs are common among 16-56.

Unless it is a reduction, boob jobs are the stupidest waste of time and money out there regardless of age.

I have a thing for nerdy Jewish boys. I’m a blond Protestant from the Midwest. I was in heaven at Yale. Met my husband there and he is still a handsome, tweedy professor-type 30 years later.
