Are the reported rise in speech-delays due to masked daycare caregivers making you rethink daycare?

We left because they required 48 hours without symptoms. DD was getting non-COVID illnesses every two weeks and was out two weeks a month.

I can't even imagine the mess with quarantining now.

If you can afford it get a nanny.

We didn't have any speech issues- maybe because DD was with us A LOT and still is.

I started daycare in November and have had two two-week long illnesses so just agreeing with the prior poster. Can't get a nanny right now unfortunately. But man, the daycare illnesses are the worst!!!!
