Where can I find kerosene?

Anonymous
Where can I find kerosene somewhere near Falls Church? We've called Home Depot and various local gas stations and no one seems to have any idea where we can get some. We really don't want to have to drive to Southern MD for this....HELP! Thank you!

OP, whatever you plan to do with the kerosene, don't do it. Call a hotline and get help.

Very common in Southern Maryland.

My advice would be calling places a bit further out. Perhaps find gas station like a truck stop.

Did you goolge fairfax kerosene? There are some listings. On phone so can't paste them on here

OP here, we've called all those places and they have no idea what we're talking about. Who knew kerosene would be that hard to find? For the poster who told me not to do it....it's just a heater Our heat is having a hard time keeping up with the cold weather so we like to occasionally use our kerosene heater to help out (while we're awake obviously). We found kerosene while visiting family a few hours from here and am now having a difficult time finding any more. Keep the ideas coming....

Did you try a farm supply store like Southern States. I know there is one up in Damascus Maryland.

When I googled fairfax kerosene there were two messageboards listed about halfway down on the results page. This one had several listings. Did you try these?

OP here, my DH ended up driving down to a Sheetz in Dale City. He made it back with 15 gallons so hopefully this will last up a while! Darn cold weather. Thanks for all the advice!
