Flat easy bike trails

| Looking for flat easy bike trails for a new biker, close to a bikeshare location. Beach drive would be great but there are no bikeshare docks nearby. Any recommendations? Shady and interesting scenery is a plus! |

| Thanks! These are a bit far afield for us (although maybe others will find them useful!) Would really appreciate spots in DC near a bikeshare dock, if anyone knows of any. |

| River road and landy near capital crescent trail. I just don’t know what parts of the trail are closed right now though. |
