| With the decision made that school will be 100% virtual, will the county still honor permits they've already given to outside groups - soccer teams, track clubs, etc.? Would they decide that school isn't safe but a sport is? |
| Well, they are allowing for permits now. Our rec league uses them and has plans to continue doing so. Why would that change? |
|
Oh I’m sure they’ll cancel it despite:

Thank you for this link to Al Jazeera, the premier scientific journal of our time. |
Thank you for putting your head back up your backside and please, leave it there this time. |
Stop flaunting your white western privilege. |
| If they allow field permits for outside groups, there is no reason why they shouldn't allow PE classes and sports teams to happen on campus. |
Outside groups are just using the outside fields and not the inside of the building where the virus can be spread with more ease. |
One reason: liability |
https://www.virginia.gov/coronavirus/forwardvirginia/faq/#858961 "Competition that involves close contact with other athletes should be avoided" County will probably close fields to permitted use based on that. |
| Are the permits free or do the sports clubs pay the county a fee to use the fields? If the county is getting revenue, I think they will be less inclined to cancel permits. |
PE Classes and school sports teams could happen in 2 hour blocks 2-3 days a week where students come, do PE or sports and leave without changing or going into a building. |
| Sports clubs pay a fee. It is called the Kiddie Tax. |
