Arlington "Team" Schools

| I would love to hear from parents who have children in one of the 4 "team" schools in Arlington (Key, Science Focus, Taylor, & Jamestown). Why did you choose one over the others? |

The problem in choosing one of the team schools was that we were choosing based on a gut reaction. Then again, they're all good schools, and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
Key: Yay for having a child who is bilingual. Boo for limited recess as they push to improve scores. ASF: Yay for science made fun. Boo for one-note approach to education (does music class have to be just singing songs about scientific principals?) Jamestown: Yay for plenty of recess. Boo for warring parents who miss the old principal. Taylor: Yay for team teaching and tailoring the level of challenge to each student. Boo for students who boast about being in the top tracks. |
