Hi all! Does anyone have a recommendation for a big, comfy chair that an adult plus a kid or two could snuggle up and read books in? Looking for any suggestions of ones that are big enough, very comfortable, and held up over time. Alternatively, if you suggest another option (like playroom furniture like the Nugget) that would be conducive to bedtime/book reading, we're open to other options. Thanks in advance! |
I don't know if you like the look but those big papasan chairs are good for this. |
We got an upholstered rocker with ottoman from the baby furniture section of costco.com and it has worked for 10+ years for this purpose. We also got a slipcovered chair from PBK for another kid’s room which also works but the costco one is actually comfier. It looks like costco doesnt carry it anymore but its similar to this:

Both my preteen and teen like their beanbags for reading. |
We got a kids couch from pottery barn kids years ago. It’s perfect. |
