Guarantee she thought the same things about Brian when she met him - they were soul mates etc. Well Megan, relationships are great, until they aren't. They take nurturing and you have to grow a little to maintain them. This is just such poor taste to do while she is still married, even if they are in the process of divorce.

She dated BAG starting at 18 so I don’t understand your premise that this is a pattern for her. If we want to talk about something regarding her I’d like to discuss why a 30 year old was dating a teenager.

Their relationship has always had an ick factor and there are lots of rumors he is a controllinig douchebag (a 30 year old who dates a teen is controlling? You don't say!) I cut her a good bit of slack for this, and it seems like she has made multiple attempts to get out. I don't think this is an example of not "nurturing her relationship." Not really sure it ever should have been nurtered in the first place and she should just flee.
