| Like it? Love it? Which products in particular? |

I liked it for all over coverage (base, I guess you'd say). They didn't really have the right color for me and I didn't like that there was only one formulation (matte, semi-matte, dewy, etc) instead of 3-4 options.
I now use Everyday Minerals and love it. Lots of shades to choose from, and once you find your shade, you can pick the level of matte you like with it. They also have concealer that is incredible! My mom fell and bruised the hell out of her lip area in NYC. Nothing would conceal the purple bruises, but luckily I had my EM concealer and it completely covered the bruise. (And it didn't hurt her to apply it with a soft brush instead of fingertips.) Their website is everydayminerals.com and you can order up to 5 colors as a free sample while you find your exact shade and formulation. Oh, and it's about 1/3 the cost of Bare Escentuals/ Minerals. |
| I really like Bare Escentuals. I've used their products for the last 10 years. QVC is having a today's special value for them tomorrow. It is a great way to try the products at a good price. |

Love, love, love BE! Gives me perfect skin without looking like I have makeup on. Best products are the foundation and finishing powder along with the eyelining colors and concealer.
Everything pretty good except the mascaras and lipsticks suck. They are on QVC tonight and throughout tomorrow. You should watch and learn about them. |
| They have a store at Tysons Corner, and they will do a whole makeover for you and help you pick out what works with your skin tone. You can also just buy 1 or 2 things as opposed to the whole set. I would go during the week or very early on a weekend, the place is usually pretty crowded. |
| Love Bare Escentuals. I regularly use the foundation, mineral veil and eye shadows. I also got some good brushes to use with it - they are expensive but I think they make a difference. |
| Has anyone taken advantage of the $89 deal at QVC? So tempting! |
| I do buy alot of BE from QVC. Also shop at the Tysons store. They give you a loyalty card and when you fill it, they give you $10 off your next purchase. |
| Yes-love! Best concealer, ever...to the extent that DH has borrowed on occassion to cover a zit. |
| I bought the today special value on QVC. Can't wait to get it so I can try the rare minerals night treatment! |

I have to chime in here... don't forget they make the BEST self-tanner ever! A big bottle will last 6 months, and is $60. Hands down the most natural looking, best smelling, fastest working self tanning cream out there.
Sometime hopefully QVC will run it on an hour special - - it's pretty amazing to see a super fair-complected person turn bronze in one application. Two applications makes it look like you spent a week in the islands! Love it! |
| I totally forgot about the self-tanner! Yes, best ever!!! Must tell you to buy the fabulous body brush that comes with the tanner. It gives you the perfect application - even, no streaks, fast and it doesn't get on your hands. Completely sold out now but maybe they will bring it back. |

5:28 is right, you have to get the chunky brush in order to even USE this product. It helped me to watch them apply it over and over on QVC. You brush it on long strokes, then go across like a crosshatch, then finish in circles. All of this in about 1 minute. I can do my entire body in about 10 minutes 2x/ week. I look healthy tan year round. I even use this on my face, but manage that trick by getting my brush mostly dry (say after my legs took most of the cream off the brush) and doing half my face, then another round from what's left on the brush after my other leg or arm. That way, I never put cream directly on my face for fear it will be too dark.
I had to have a bottle now, so I bought mine on Ebay. Only about $50 shipped, and the bottle still had its foil seal on the cap. Save your pump! Refills don't come with one. |
| Good to know, pp. Thank you! |
| Damn! I cant believe I missed it and I really need more Mineral Veil too. I'm AA with super oil skin and I've always had problems with my makeup melting off my face. A few years ago I saw the infomercials for the starter kit and I'm so glad I ordered it. I use the foundation, the mineral veil, the honey bisque to cover my acne scars, and Warmth instead of blush. |
