I was just playing around on the DCPS Lottery site -- https://lottery.dcps.dc.gov/Main_Entry.aspx -- and it doesn't recognize my address as in-boundary for my local DCPS elementary school (for which I'm definitely in-boundary). Is that feature working for others? (I'm trying to figure out if the whole thing's broken, or if it just doesn't properly recognize my address.) Many thanks. |
it was working for me yesterday. I would call DCPS and ask. I think there is a number on the bottom of the main page to call with questions |
I just did it this morning and it was fine. But you can't use a common between your street and the quadrant. |
It worked for me yesterday. But you can't use the abbreviation "St." for Street -- you have to spell it out. |
OP here. Looks like this is now sorted out. Thanks, everyone! |
Just seeing this. I called DCPS this morning - they were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful - and they said there were a few minor glitches in the system. Little things, like because HD Cooke was spelled "HD Cooke" in one part of the system but "H.D. Cooke" in another, it wasn't acknowledging in-boundary addresses.
And like PP said, it's very specific in how you have to enter your address. Looks like they've gotten most of the kinks worked out, though. |
