I've read many posts about good yoga pants. But I don't like the synthetic material most seem to use (lucy, lululemon, athleta). Any recommendations for yoga pants that are cotton with a little bit of spandex (but not too tight -- my body is not slim enough to pull off wearing tight yoga pants around town, which is what I mostly want them for!)?
I have a pair from Patagonia like that, but they have faded a bit because they are made from organic cotton so they are really only for working out, not wearing around town.
Check out Old Navy and GapBody online. I have had great luck with these brands - they wash well, are soft, and don't have that shiny finish.
I get mine from Target.
I have Old Navy ones and they are great, though they do fade with time. At $12.50 on sale, I don't care. An added benefit is that they come in tall sizes, which I need and can never find in most brands.
i've had good luck with Marika - the Golds gyms around town occasionally sell the kind I like - drawstring top, and I buy them a size large (L) for a better fit. I always go up a size in yoga pants so they're a little drape-y.
