As I listen to my husband non-stop on “important” work conference calls all day long, I’m surprised how often he says the word “anywho” as a way to transition the conversation. What would you think of someone that throws out the word, “anywho” on a work call? Curious if I’m the only one annoyed...

| Dumb. |
| I use the term “anywho” more than I say “anyhow”. It’s probably regional to some degree. Anyhow seems so blunt. |
| Nothing |
| Hate it |
| Silly and sounds odd in this day and age |
|
What do I think? I think it's spelled "anyhoo."
I also think it should only be used ironically. |
I think you should find bigger problems to worry about. What a charmed life you lead. ANYHOO |
| Fun! |
|
Makes me feel nostalgic.
|
| It is a casual transition signifying lightheartedness. |
+1 |
| that is not a word. |
| It would drive me crazy, it sounds so stupid. Right up there with exspecially, irregardless, pivot and the phrase ‘a couple, three’ which screams I’m from the Midwest! |
| I think your husband is white. |
