HPT after Day 5 Transfer

| They are making me wait 14 days after a day 5 transfer (ug!). I've had 2 chemical pregnancies before following IUIs--so I know the risks of testing early and often at home. When do you think it's reasonable to do a HPT with a day 5 transfer? |

| I got a faint bfp 4 days after a day 6 transfer (so the equivalent of 5 days after a 5 day transfer) and the line got darker from there (singleton). Everyone's different, though. Good luck. |

| I got a definite positive on an HPT 8 days post transfer of a a single 5 day embryo/blast from NCIVF and the line got darker each day...I tested day 7 (faint), 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 then had blood test on day 13. |

| I started testing on day 10 following IUI and it was barely pink but definitely positive, I told my RE that I didn't do a HPT but I think they knew better...are there any patients that don't do HPT?? |

| I did not get a faint BFP until 7dp5dt. And when I say it was faint, I had to put it under a lamp to see the second line. |

| I got positive 9dp5dt. It's hard to wait though! |

| I tested for the first time 8dp5dt and got a faint positive. I wasn't planning to test, but had some weird symptoms and felt like what the heck. Lines got darker from there. |

| BFP 9dp5dt. It was dark and clear though. I probably wouldn't have gotten a positive 8dp5dt also. |
