Curious to know if PG Privates are all following PGCPS plans for re-opening or if some are offering in-person options?
We are still waiting for plans, but have been informed that the school is making decisions based on the parent survey not PGCPS.
Reid Temple is offering in person and virtual.
+1 |
DeMatha is announcing their plans on Wednesday
I would assume that all of these plans for any in-person instruction are fluid and could change if our area continues to see an increase of cases.
Maryland International Day has weekly meetings with parents since March and is taking parental input into account as far as reopening goes. Most parents of older kids seem to be more comfortable with continuing remote at least for the start of this semester so that’s the plan. I think they did a great job with remote instruction last semester and I expect it will only improve this round. Some of the PreK-2 parents understandably feel their young ones need in person learning instead. So the school met with them and I believe these grades will be starting back in person and taking measures to make it as safe as possible.
Has the school found a permanent location? They kept talking of upgrading the church they were in but I do not think it ever happened. I think the school has potential but the last location was questionable.
I agree with PP. I toured last year and thought the space was blah. Then when it moved to Brinkley Rd, I showed up for the tour and didn’t even go in. For the price of tuition, $15,550, it’s totally not worth it.
