Anyone else nervous to send their kids to college this fall?

I have to that are a month away from leaving to go to college. My daughter will be a freshman at UVA and my son is going to be a Jounior at Virginia Tech. Charlottesville and Roanoake are not hot spots currently but what's going to happen when kids return to campus ?

No, there are many things I worry about while they are gone that have much higher mortality rates for this age cohort. I do not have a high risk child though. My DD will be headed back to UVA as well.

Yes, nervous but, hopeful that they will experience something close to "normal"

Not at all.

Of course. I’m not worried my healthy 18 year old will be very ill or die. But I am afraid he is going to be quarantined and isolated in a strange place, afraid, and I won’t be able to be there.

I’m not stopping him from going though. The college has good protocols and a good plan and we discussed the options. He’s not making the decision lightly.

I’m not sure how much sleep I’ll get this fall though.
