Do you have one and like it? Any negatives?

Do you think it's better to lease or buy?

How much did you pay recently? They seem to be offering 10k off right off the bat. How much more can I negotiate down?

Test drive it last year and it felt cheap.

Paid a little more for a 2019 Mercedes GLC300 and the price difference was so worth it for the luxury drive.

Just leased one. Love it. Ignore the haters. Good deals can be bad but not as good as a few months ago. Still, best bang for the buck at this price level. Check out the forum at leasehackr to get an idea on lease pricing.

The GLC is a lot less than the XC90. The Volvo inscription model has an MSRP of close to $70,000, some over. I didn't know it's a Chinese company. That might be a dealbreaker.

Thank you for this reference. Might need to look at other cars too. I'm also looking at the GLE350, but it's more expensive and no third row.

Momentum with Advanced package. The Inscription isn’t really worth the additional money, IMHO. There really aren’t that many differences to justify the cost. And while Volvo was purchased by a Chinese company about a decade ago, the XC90 is still designed and manufactured in Sweden (until the next gen XC90 in a few years which will be made in the US).

And leashackr is a great reference for all lease-types. There are also brokers on there that will negotiate on your behalf for minimal fees. But it’s a great resource if you want to get into the ins and outs of a lease yourself.

Not comparable - GLC300 is a compact SUV.

That lane you very much. I’ve only driven the inscription, and it didn’t feel cheap to me at all. I checked out leasehackr, and there wasn’t a lot info on inscription, just momentum.

Had an XC90, HATED it, will never buy Volvo again. It had so many recalls and issues, I was always in the shop and had a loner, really wanted to love the Volvo but never again. My SO drives a Mercedes and it is such a better car, rarely breaks down and the handling is incredible.
