If you have a professional grade hairdryer, do you find your hair turns out less frizzy, more like a salon blow-out, or does it just dry faster ? Curious, because I can't get my hair to look decent when drying with my Target special hairdryer.

Yes, I can come pretty close to replicating a salon blow out, if I take the time. If I had salon skills, I am sure I could fully replicate it. I rarely do take the time to do the full blow out, but my hair still looks better than if I had used a cheap dryer and certainly is less frizzy.
When I started using a professional hair dryer at home, I was asked almost daily for a while if I just got a hair cut. |
| OP here. PP, What brand dryer do you use? |
| 20:56 here. I have a Super Solano. I have very thick, uncooperative hair and used to burn though a couple of cheap dryers a year. My Solano and I are going on 6 years together and it is as good as new as far as I can tell. Elchim is another good brand. |
| After ignoring my stylist's suggestion for years that I buy a prof dryer, I finally treated myself for my 40th bday. Mine is Elchim a little over $100 I think. My hair looks great when I use it. I have a different hairdryer in my gym bag that I use for convienence and my hair always looks like crap when I use that one! |
| My hair doesn't look like I just came out of the salon, but I think that is because my hair is on the longer side and I don't have the physical strength to keep pulling the brushes as taught as they do in the salon! But it does come out a lot better than if I used a "cheap" dryer. |
Oops meant "taut" |
| Not the OP, but you all sold me! I just ordered one from Folica.com. See ya, $25 Target dryer! |
