APS Montessori

What are families doing with the news that we'll be paying 40-60% tuition even with the fully virtual model? My child is only 3 so not sure how virtual preschool is going to work for him.

Doesn't APS still have to pay the teachers? They might have issue a 1099 on the discount so you can pay taxes on it.

A discount would be great - very kind of APS.

OP here - I don't take issue with the charge (yes, they will have costs to bear), just trying to decide if it is worth it to keep my 3 yo in when virtual preschool is unlikely to be effective. Curious how other families are weighing this out.

I want 40-60% off my property taxes (or 20-30% at least) if my K-12 students are doing distance learning.

This is absurd - Montessori in Arlington what a waste of $$$$. It needs to go the way of FLES.

If you withdraw this year, you’ll lose your space and probably won’t get in next year. So I wouldn’t withdraw unless you’re oaky giving up Montessori entirely.
