Best value off-lease luxury car

Looking for something like a Volvo S60, Audi 4, Lexus ES, etc. Looking for value - solid mix of reasonable price, maintenance/reliability, and comfort features.

Lexus 100% if you want luxury and reliability.

Best value off lease car would be one with high depreciation and good reliability.

I drive Audis and love them but if you’re buying used and looking for reliability, definitely buy Lexus.

OP. Would it make any difference - as to which car/brand - if it was a certified car? Seems like such a warranty might protect me if I chose a less reliable car but one that was more fun to drive. Thoughts?

I asked this question of my mechanics not too long ago - they said if I want to stay out of their shop, and pay less when I'm in their shop, stay far away from Audi and most other Euro cars. I know Audi is ranked quite well in terms of reliability as of late, but I trust my mechanics more than Consumer Reports in this case.

What brands or models would this be?

We just bought a Volvo suv off lease 32k miles and it’s in fantastic condition. I love it.

Doesn't exist. Depreciation curve and reliability/out of warranty costs are wedded.

Volvo nor Lexus are luxury cars, especially Lexus's current design language. Fugly/tacky as hell.

I can’t imagine anyone looking at that and thinking it looks good.
