| My sister will be having a daughter, and her and her husband can't decide on a name. She's okay with me posting here. |
| Louisa |
+1 |
+2 Or even better, Eloisa. |

Louisa by a mile. Aria is okay. Cindy is terrible. |
|
Aria—Everyone is going to think she named her baby after Game of Thrones
Cindy—that’s not a name; it’s a nickname. Name her Cynthia and call her Cindy or skip it. Louisa—kind of old-fashioned but pretty and Lou or Lulu would be cute nicknames if the girl decides it’s too stuffy when she gets older. |
| Louisa! |
What's wrong with Cindy? |
Agree with Louisa. The GOT girl you're thinking of is named Arya, but if it's spoken, that makes sense. I also know several people named Cindy (not as a nickname). |
| They're all awful. I am not quite sure which is worst or best. |
| We have a Louisa and get a lot of compliments, though I guess if people hate it they wouldn't tell us! |
|
I love Louisa. Makes me think of Louisa May Alcott. Lu or Lulu are adorable nicknames. You can't go wrong with that one.
Much less of a fan of Aria or Cindy. |

I used to have a doll called Cindy, ok stand corrected , the dill was Sindy, but still I have very warm and positive associations with the name.
https://fashiondollshop.nl/sindy-dolls/ So my vote is for Louisa or Cindy. Aria sounds colder, so for me it’s a no. |
What's wrong with them? |
They're all ugly-sounding. |
